About Me

Sara Carnes is co-host of the 95.5 The FISH Morning Show every weekday from 6am-10am. Start your day with a daily dose of encouragement and music that lifts you up! 

Sara was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and always knew she wanted a career in broadcasting.  As a pastor's granddaughter, she started singing and entertaining in her Papa's church at an early age. At an early age, she was determined to be in the business and would use the maps in the back of her Bible to give the weather forecast.

Sara can also be seen as daily host of SPOTLIGHT 5 on WEWS Channel 5. The feature highlights area business, community events, and activities throughout Northeast Ohio. 

Sara is also a huge Cleveland sports fans can also be seen as the in-game entertainment host at all Cleveland Browns home games.  

Sara lives in the Cleveland area with her husband Russ, and their 2 girls, Makayla and Reagan. Together they are very active in their church and in the community.

A few of Sara’s favorite things are vacations with her family, hiking and all things nature, boating, chips & salsa, all things DISNEY, attending live musical and theater events, and Christmas! Sara loves enjoying time with her family and friends, as well as entertaining and eating!
